About Jae Mundt
Jae Mundt – Attorney, Advocate, Mediator
Raised in a rural community where women had limited agency, Jae Mundt witnessed gender inequality early on. Determined to make a difference, she challenged the status quo—successfully petitioning her high school to create a girls’ basketball program despite resistance from faculty and peers.
Hardworking and community-minded, Jae contributed on the family farm, volunteered in youth ministries, and later served on church staff supporting children and adult programs. Her early roles as a nurse’s aide and legal caseworker deepened her commitment to service and justice.
Jae earned her undergraduate degree in social work, followed by a Juris Doctorate from DePaul University College of Law, where she co-founded the Evening Law Student Society to support working students like herself.
As a trial attorney for the City of Chicago’s Corporation Counsel, Jae handled a demanding caseload of personal injury cases, gaining valuable litigation experience and mastering skills in negotiation, settlement, and courtroom procedure.
After relocating to Colorado, Jae continued her work in law and public service—lobbying for land rights, engaging in political advocacy, and supporting family and children’s ministries. Her skill in mediation traces back to her time managing conflicts among missionary teams in Baja, Mexico.
Now, as the owner of The Law Offices of Jae Mundt, she focuses on personal injury and family law—fighting for justice and fair compensation while helping clients navigate emotionally complex legal matters. Her mission is clear: to help individuals and families not only resolve their cases but also move forward stronger.
